Truly gifted everyone and activities greatly improved. Feel entitled in Titletown when taking up residence at Brookview Meadows. We needed to admit my dad's wife in the middle of Covid which made my dad very uneasy as he could not enter the facility.
They do offer activities, but he is not participating at this time. I absolutely adore the staff at Apple Creek! I wish I could place more of my members there but they are private pay. They have a truly GREAT facility and they treat members like family.

I went shopping to find a mattress pad because she complained the bed was so uncomfortable. Please do not place your loved one here. They are overwhelmed with way too many people to care for… They over medicate patients so they do not have to care for them. The food is absolutely terrible and no other choices for your loved ones to eat.. Many of the staff have absolutely no compassion or love for their job because of being overwhelmed and understaffed.. Please before placing your parent or loved one here take a tour of the place and talk to the residence..

In the second section she was in there was not much to do as far as activities because nobody was moving or doing anything. They would just sleep in their chairs because this step was the last wing. She was comfortable, and during COVID they would send pictures to my stepsister and she would post them online so we could see her. Her immediate family was allowed to go and stay with her while she was in hospice and they got to stay overnight with her, so she was never alone. They were very good to her and to us. I took my dad there every Sunday for lunch.
She knew this name but didn’t know anyone who stayed. Parkside had received a call from the hospital that she’d be coming but was not prepared. She needed to be quarantined for 2 days as she had had the flu. They assigned a single, dirty room that had been used as storage.
